10 Movies to watch on a first date
By Cosmic Hype Staff - Friday November 09 2018
1. Top Gun
This movie has everything for an awesome evening and later a perfect night: friendship, romance, bad-ass action, jets and of course... Tom Cruise! You'll feel pumped for the rest of the night.
2. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is a very powerful movie. You might think it's a strange selection for a first date, but the end sums it all. It's a good insight into how to build a strong relationship from the start.
3. Groundhog Day
Another strange selection you might think, but Bill Murray's performance and watch him go after Rita is incredibly romantic. You'll want to cuddle after watching it.
4. Silver Linings Playbook
This romantic drama is filled with little details about how romance and relationships are different for everyone. These two people need each other and despite the damage in their life, they succumb to their undeniable chemistry.
Paris and romance, what more do you want? Amélie's kind and naive heart will make you feel that this movie was written for you. Following her little adventure across Paris is perfect to watch it while holding hands and share a few smiles.
6. Jerry Maguire
This movie has nothing and everything to do with a love story. Filled with quotes like "You had me at hello" or the famous one "You... complete... me" this movie will just make you happy.
Wall-E is just so adorable you'll be smiling the whole time (well, almost)! Watching EVE giving all she has to ensure Wall-E's safety is one of the cutest things ever made on TV. Wall-E and EVE are so different but that's why they say that opposites attract.
8. Cabin in the Woods
You might say at first "Are you serious? A typical horror movie?". Well, it's not. The unexpected ending and the weirdness of the film are perfect to talk about it later on for hours. You WILL remember this date!
9. Midnight in Paris
If you're someone that lives in the past and often thinks that times were better before, this movie is perfect to share on a first date. Take a walk with the characters down the banks of the Seine and feel the romance.
You know what kind of movie I'm talking about... I don't have a specific title in mind, that will depend on your preferences. But please, be sure that both parties are on board!
